Rihama Shaheen was a Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps and also an Intelligence interpreter whose death prompted NCIS to be called to Edenvale to investigate her death although the Sheriff's Department suspected that an Iraqi national named Masoud Tariq was responsible although it was later revealed that Shaheen's C.O was actually the killer.
