Father of Sherry Woods. Evidently single, although it is not clear whether he is a widower or divorced, he and Sherry have a strained relationship. He is obviously rich and successful, but has no idea how to connect with his daughter, and because she has become so hard to control, he has sent her to Mansbridge Academy because it is the only school now willing to take her. He tries to visit her once during the school year when she refuses to come home for a holiday weekend, and although the visit does not go smoothly at first, they do at least share one touching father/daughter moment together before he goes back home. His reaction to her death is not shown.
