Survey gear was a type of headwear used primarily by Peragian miners who were surveying new asteroid claims. This instrument was designed to help identify both pockets of gas and any thermal charges placed in the area. The helmet also included small sonic generation and receiving gear in order to absorb any high decibel emissions from sonic charges and grenades.
