In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, a couple of Metal Blocks can be found in the Riddle Tower in the Palace of Shadow. Here, they cannot be destroyed, even with the Ultra Hammer; instead, Mario must solve a puzzle to eliminate them.
