Victor Rovner was a CIA informant and freelance dealer in arms, drugs and information who did most of his work out of the Czech Republic. (Findings at CTU) Just after midnight on Day 1 (4:00pm Malaysian time), Rovner transmitted a message from Kuala Lumpur to an agent at CTU Los Angeles, informing them that a professional assassin was on his way to Los Angeles to kill Senator David Palmer. As he sent the transmission, people began knocking on his door and yelling. ("Day 1: 12:00am-1:00am")
