Father Boris was the Eastern Orthodox priest of the village of Gramada. He presided over Todor's funeral. When Todor's blood gave birth to a vurkolak, Father Boris tried to counsel his flock away from superstition, but soon even he had to admit its supernatural powers when he witnessed it attack the Moon.
