Christie Golden (born 1963) is a Colorado based American fantasy author. Her first novel Vampire of the Mists (1991) marked the beginning of TSR's Ravenloft novel line. Her trips to the Forgotten Realms have thus far been limited to three short stories published in the anthologies series in which she further explores the character of the elven vampire Jander Sunstar, whom she established in Vampire of the Mists. Apart from her engagement for TSR, Golden has written several original novels and some set in the Star Trek universe. She is currently focusing on working with Blizzard Entertainment, having released novels in their Starcraft and Warcraft universes.
