Viera Creel was a female human diplomat from Corellia. At some point prior to the death of Emperor Palpatine, she was sent to the Anoat sector to represent the interests of her homeworld there. When Governor Adelhard put the entire sector on lock down to prevent the news of the Emperor's demise from spreading, Creel was trapped there and unable to send word of the blockade home.
