Sickened Animals are animals "sickened" by the malevolent spirit of Shiro Tagachi and "infected" with the plague that will eventually turn them into an Afflicted creature, but who have not made the transformation yet. Even if they were previously tame, the plague turned them into agressive and wild creatures again. These animals cannot be charmed. They have not been seen to drop Animal Hides, though they should.
