All of those races came in 1967, when Darlington marked his debut. Starting 19th in the field, Holley completed most of the race before engine failure left him 15th. DNFs were unfortunately part of his season, as Holley failed to finish a single race. Amazingly, Holley was still able to match his career-best finish with a 15th at Macon. Unfortunately met an untimely end due to bone cancer.
