Phil Maloney (born October 6, 1927 in Ottawa, Ontario) is a retired professional player who played 158 games in the National Hockey League. He played for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Chicago Black Hawks, and Boston Bruins. Maloney started out in junior hockey with the Ottawa St Patricks of the Ottawa City Junior League from 1944 to 1946. He then spent two seasons (1946-47 & 1947-48) with the Shawinigan Falls Cataractes of the Quebec Senior Hockey League. He played the 1949-50 season with the Boston Bruins, scoring 15 goals and 31 assists and finishing in second place in the Calder Trophy race.
