Bride of Chucky is a 1998 American comedy horror film directed by Chinese director Ronny Yu. It is the fourth entry in the "Child's Play" series. In the first installment in the series, Child's Play (1988), a serial killer (Brad Dourif) is shot and mortally wounded while on the run from police. Before dying, Charles Lee "Chucky" Ray ("The Lakeshore Strangler") takes cover inside a toy store, where he finds boxes of a fictional brand of "Good Guy" dolls.
