The Bodrite was a fine marbleized rock found on the planet Bodrin and quarried there by Elrood Quarry Corporation. The bodrite was in demand throughout the Elrood sector. The rock was used in floors and walls for elaborate palaces, expensive office complexes, and other ornate buildings. The bodrite was hard to quarry, but only about two thousand metric tons of the rock per year were necessary to maintain the small planet's trade balance.
