The Degtyarov DT was a Light Machine Gun used by the Soviet Union in its armored vehicles during World War II. Some 795,000 Degtyarov DT Light Machine Guns (DP LMGs) were maufactured. The Finns made good use of captured DP LMGs during their fight with the Soviet Army in the Winter War of the Second World War.
