Pentaceratops was a type of ceratopsid dinosaur indigenous to planet Earth millions of years ago during the Cretacecous period. It was similar to Torosaurus and Triceratops. Commander Spock postulated that the two ceratopsid dinosaurs Ensign Reenie identified as Triceratops, were actually either Torosaurus or Pentaceratops. (TOS novel: First Frontier)
