Dawn Prescott was taken on as a shop assistant at Weatherfield Security Systems in January 1989, when Alan Bradley first opened the shop. Dawn worked alongside Alan and Martin Platt and her responsibilities included managing the shop while Alan and Martin were on call-outs. Audrey Roberts also saw Dawn about a dockland flat but the plans fell through as she couldn't talk Alf round.
