In Donkey Kong Country Returns, Cranky sells seven different items: one single balloon, two balloon bundles, Squawks, heart boosts, banana juice, and map keys. If the Kongs have 99 lives and visit Cranky's Shop, Cranky will not sell them any type of extra life balloon, as 99 lives is the maximum life count in the game.
