The Capitalian gubernatorial election of 2009 will elect one candidate to the office of Governor of Capitalia, the (largely ceremonial) head of the Georgeland island state of Capitalia. Incumbent Governor Emma Hewitt, elected in 2005, is seeking a second term in office against four other candidates. The election will be held concurrently with the Capitalia legislative election, 2009, as stated in the state constitution.
