When Francine decides to bond with Steve by teaching him how to shoplift in "Crotchwalkers", she steers him away from The Gash, fearful of their security. When they admit they stole goods they give to the family, Stan forces them to promise to stop shoftlifting. When Steve rejects spending other time with Francine, she decides for them to go out with one last heist at The Gash, releasing a horde of rats in a dressing room as Steve tries to tuck a garment under his shirt but is caught and sent off to work in The Gash Sweatshop.
