The Chronicles were meant to explain how Norman got his cheek scarred and became addicted to Triptocaine, as well as how Madison developed her insomnia, although the events of Episode One could explain this. In 2010 it was announced that the DLC series was put "On Hold." In 2012, Quantic Dream announced the upcoming release of their next title, Beyond: Two Souls, at E3, further lessening the chances of the DLC. Beyond: Two Souls was released in late 2013 with no further news on the Heavy Rain DLC.
