The Special DVDs (recently Super Video), sometimes incorrectly referred to as Hyper Battle DVDsImage:Icon-crosswiki.png in reference to their Kamen Rider counterparts, is a special made-for-video release of a Super Sentai short, featuring a short story or information regarding the Sentai of the year. They originally began with Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger and every season except Gosei Sentai Dairanger and GoGo Sentai Boukenger has had one. They are usually created in association with Kodansha's Terebi Magazine.
