All subjects were children taken from Neo-Umbrella employees, either voluntarily or forcefully. Most subjects were then injected with an isolated strain of the intentionally created p-C Virus, a hybrid of the Progenitor virus and the C-Virus. They were then studied throughout their childhood, and, as intended, they gained increased intellect levels and over the course of the teenage-young adult years, enhanced fighting capabilites.
