The Onctiliians were a non-humanoid species native to the planet Onctiliis in either the Alpha or Beta Quadrants. By the 23rd century, not much was known about them. Physically they were roughly spherical in shape, perhaps a meter in diameter, with a color somewhere between pink and brown. They were actually four separate beings bonded for life, with four different personalities residing in one, and are roughly four times as strong as a single Onctiliian. The four can pool their intelligence to a degree when necessary, and would react with utmost speed and violence to any they feel would cause harm to their physical integrity.
