Bar Harbor is a small summer resort town in the state of Maine. It was located between the cities of Ellsworth and Collinsport. In 1916, artist Charles Dana Gibson and model Irene Langhorne lived in Bar Harbor. In 1967, Carolyn Stoddard spent the summer in Bar Harbor living with a woman named Mrs. Reid and working in a small gift shop.
