Ted Nougat is a Candy Pirate located in the Monkey Foothills. It is possible that he's also trying to contact and summon more Candy Pirates by using the lighthouse located west of his campsite, as the pirates in Orchid Bay are trying to use the one there. He doesn't really object to Jordan Almond joining the Candy Pirates, but he wants to play around with him first. He finally lets Jordan join when he finds out Jordan's going too far in attempting to attach a peg leg to himself.
