The Bulgarian Championship was not contested during the 1956-57 due to an overly mild winter (there were no indoor ice rinks in Bulgaria at the time). Instead, a competition for the Coupe du front pour la pattie was arranged. It was played in March 1957 at the Borovets Ski Resort, and saw Cherveno zname Sofia claim the tournament.
