Belmuth "the Bastard" was a king of Cormyr. He took the throne after his stepnephew Baerildo Obarskyr, who was only an infant, was slain by Gorauna. Belmuth's reign likewise ended because of his death in Gorauna's Purplethroat Plague, and his son Sargrannon succeeded him.
