Earl Roy Gros (August 29, 1940 – July 15, 2013) was a former American football running back who played college football at Louisiana State University and played in the National Football League from 1962 to 1970. Gros finished his career with 821 rushes for 3,157 yards (an average of 3.8 yards per rush) and 28 touchdowns. He also had 142 receptions for 1,255 yards (an average of 8.8 yards per reception) and ten touchdowns. He died at the age of 72 on July 15, 2013.
