Deseretism, more properly, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, is a religion based out of the Deseret province of Aruta. It is generally considered by those outside the church as an offshoot of Christianity, though many Deseretists consider it instead a branch within the same, though there are some Deseretists who accept the designation as a separate religion, believing that their church follows the true teachings of Jesus Christ, and that the so-called Christian church is a corrupted heresy, not worthy of using the name of Christ. According to Arutan law, it is a distinct religion, a designation that was originally granted for political reasons, primarily distrust of Christianity within Aruta, and many other Japanese nations. Though that distrust has decreased, the legal desi
