Joe Wylee steals a rift blaster which he uses to visit Mongo, intending to secure photographic evidence of the planet's existence. When Flash Gordon and his friends try to track down Joe, Dale Arden becomes possessed by an evil sorceress' spirit. In the meantime, Rankol gets a competitor. Joe is captured by a Patriot and Ming the Merciless sees his camera phone.
