Note: Due to an unannounced update, players can also use fishing bait at Otto's Grotto. Players fishing in this area should be cautious with any pet out, (ex. Saradomin Owl) that eats fishing bait, lest the pet starve whilst you are fishing. The priority, in which bait is used first, is: bait, feathers, offcuts, roe, then caviar. You cannot feed your cat leaping trouts or any barbarian fish. However, you can feed it roe. Also, giant crabs will eat barbarian fish.
