Kandalee found an egg a couple weeks after starting her Pokémon journey. She took the egg back to the tent she had set up, and her Pokémon helped her warm the egg. It eventually hatched into an Igglybuff. Kandalee was the first thing it saw, thus it believed Kandalee was its mother. It wasn't long before Igglybuff became Jigglypuff.
