John Paul Lessing (b. 1920), Georgeland politician, was Member of Parliament for Elizabeth in the Georgeland Parliament from 1979 until 1997. He was a member of the Democratic Party of the United Islands, and Deputy Leader of that party from 1990 until 1996. He retired from politics at the 1997 election. He lives in New Kikipolis with his wife Maria. His son Kevin Lessing is a prominent figure in New Kikipolis as a business leader.
