Large snowballs are timed objects therefore nontradable and allows players can throw at any mob. The actual object does not cause any damage, but it reduces the target's movement speed for a very short duration by 40%. Also, in the Christmas Event 2008, it was one of many items one had to give to an event NPC in order to obtain a timed decorative suit. A related object is the Small Snowball. The only way to obtain these are from mob drops.
