Chief Connors was a Human member of the crew of the USS Independence in the 24th century. In an incident in the 2330s, when their ship was lost near Hermeticus II, Captain Wiley, along with Glener, Morris, and Connors succumbed to a virus. Soon after, Ambimorphs took their shape and left in a shuttlecraft to attempt to infiltrate Starfleet, but died en route. (TNG novel: The Romulan Prize)
