Barklad, also called Bark, was a reliable male squirrel under the command of Lady Amber. As most squirrels, he was an excellent archer. He was well respected in the tribe, and was called on several times to carry out orders, make reports and lead parties, especially during the fight against Tsarmina's army. Barklad also helped rig levers to remove rocks during the flooding of Kotir and was the first to notice that Martin's method worked.
