Doris was T.G. Kahn's secretary at his Los Angeles office. Although Doris delighted in spreading gossip, she was notorious for lacking a sense of humor, and hadn't even cracked a smile when Kahn told a funny limerick about the crypts at Saint Giles. Thus, Kahn became very suspicious on July 16, 1986, when Doris giggled while announcing that Kahn had a visitor.
