Sister Screeve was a mouse who was the recorder of Redwall Abbey during the Seasons of the Savage, or the time when Gulo the Savage was present in Mossflower Woods. Sister Screeve recorded Hitheryon Jem and Wandering Walt's accounts regarding the death of Askor, as well as the tales immediately following, even though her succesor, Melanda MacBurl, was the one to actually record the events in their entirety. After that time period ended, Screeve became too old to fulfill the duties of being a recorder of Redwall and retired, handing the job down to Melanda. After retiring, Sister Screeve became Brother Demple's Assistant Gardener.
