Blue gems are gems which require a minimum level in the skill Blue Magic in order to use. They serve a wide variety of uses, from inflicting damage to your enemies, to granting beneficial effects on your party, to manipulating your enemies and your gems themselves. The Magic Shops in every town sell level-specific non-epic blue gems, as well as the Derinium Gem in T3 (Fenelia).
