Jesse Gordon Spencer (born 12 February 1979) is an Australian actor, most known for his current portrayal of Dr. Robert Chase on the critically acclaimed medical drama House. Spencer attended Canterbury Primary School, Malvern Central School and Scotch College. Whilst at Scotch he auditioned for the long-running soap opera, Neighbours. He continued to work toward his VCE qualification whilst working on the show and graduated in 1997.
