OPERATION: Take Earth Back was a large scale operation an attempt to take humanity homeward back after it evacuation following the disastrous defeat at the hand of The Cabal where the UNSC was obligated to fall back to save it ressource. While most of it force was able to link with Reach and Glides system a contingent of about 5 millions troop left behind to protect District 9 located in Asia encompassing China a part of Russia, the India and countries between Israel and China.
