After the collapse of the Horothrium Hegemony, Lai Dravix remained at large keeping a portion of the Hegemony alive and resisting. It was determined by several Nymean leaders that if Lai Dravix were to be killed, the resisting Horothrium planets would surrender. Jorelas and Turi Malo were dispatched to hunt him down by Admiral Praviz. Their first step, after acquiring the advice of some reformed Horothrium, was to attempt to destroy the Lai's flagship. To do that, they concocted a plan to attack a smaller Horothrium planet and then impersonate the retreating fleet as it went to Horoth Raex.
