Typha-Dor was a planet located within the Uziel system of the Outer Rim Territories. The planet was rich in natural resources, with abundant sunshine and water, and had a "string of moons," one of which was satellite TY44, so named because of its coordinates. Large and varied, Typha-Dor had twin capital cities, Sarus-Dor and Ith-Dor, two rulers, and a substantial workforce. Even so, the government's High Council had never managed to learn how to truly manage and convert the planet's resources into the wealth it needed.
