The Orukat is a Soul of Rebirth enemy in Final Fantasy II, based on the Final Fantasy V palette swap of the Hecteyes. It can be found at the Unknown Place. They can be a very dangerous enemy if encountered early, as they can instantly kill everyone in the party but Minwu with the Death VIII spell, as well as cripple their offense and defense with Curse VIII. It is highly recommended to try and win Protect Rings, or be at a high enough level to dispatch these enemies quickly. Using level 8 or higher Holy, Flare, or Ultima is a good way of dealing with them if the party's physical attacks aren't sufficient. These monsters are still highly valuable though; for both dropping the Protect Rings needed to survive against their Death spell, as well as the invaluable Ribbon.
