Talyn Lyczac was a Peacekeeper officer, the lover of Xhalax Sun and the father of Aeryn Sun. Aeryn never met him as he was killed when she was young. At one point during their Peacekeeper careers, Talyn met the younger Xhalax. Unlike most Peacekeeper recreational relations, Talyn and Xhalax developed true feelings for each other and fell in love. While they knew that they had to keep their feeling hidden from their superiors, the couple chose to have a child and Xhalax went on to conceive Aeryn. Later still, Aeryn named Moya's offspring Talyn after her father.
