Zoe Morgan used her connections to a street thug named Slip who recovered his police officer nephew's gun, thus saving the young man's career. Zoe later asked Gilmore to return the favor when she and Reese decided to break into Virtanen Pharmaceuticals by requesting he keep the police from responding.
