The SSV Jackson was a Systems Alliance carrier. The SSV Jackson is one of the most maneuverable carriers to be created by the Alliance and is nearly as fast as a cruiser. It entered active duty on August 29, 2185 and was retired after being nearly destroyed by batarians on June 25, 2189. It has since been re-purposed as a massive museum on Earth. The ship is named for the well-known American entertainer Michael Jackson, who is famous for, among other things, creating the best-selling album of all time.
