Reverend John Mee (3 May 1824 - 19 September 1883) was a Church of England clergyman. Born in Nottingham, he was admitted to Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge in 1845, subsequently moving to St John's College. He graduated in 1849 and was ordained a curate by the Bishop of Worcester, and as a priest by the Bishop of Lichfield in the same year. He held clerical posts in Derbyshire and South Africa before coming to London in 1864 as vicar of St Jude's, Southwark. Member of the London School Board, elected for Southwark 1870. In 1871 he left London to become rector of Westbourne, Sussex.
