Pujie (16 April 1907 - 28 February 1994), also known as the ____ Emperor, was the thirteenth Emperor of China of the Qing Dynasty, reigning from 1967 until his death in 1994. In a break from tradition, Pujie succeeded his childless brother due to a change in succession law introduced under the Imperial Constitution. Pujie ruled over China during a period of massive growth for the Empire, including an economic boom sustained from the early 1970's all the way through 2002, a growing international presence, and numerous foreign engagements, including the controversial atomic bombings of Pansourdan and Magway in 1976. He is fondly remembered in China, along with his elder brother.
