Lord Captain Vance Whetstone, also known as the Man Out From Rivervale or Vance Rivervale is the Lord Lionsden/Lionsdún, a Lice Lord Pyrate made by his fellow captains. He was born on Lash Isle of the Gut Sea, becoming the first Lobott to single-handedly kill a tallman. He is a huge broad man with a platinum blond beard, and expressive eyebrows. He is known for his levelling gazes, and sharp looks. He grew up in Rivervale.
